Your decisions exist in three layers, each requiring different strategies:

Layer 1: Visible Decisions These are choices you consciously recognize: what to wear, what to eat, which project to tackle. They feel like "real" decisions because you notice making them. Most people only address this layer.

Layer 2: Hidden Decisions These lurk below consciousness: which notification to check, how to word an email, whether to speak up in a meeting. You make hundreds daily without realizing they're depleting you.

Layer 3: System Decisions These are decisions about decisions: how to organize your closet, which productivity method to use, when to plan your week. Ironically, trying to reduce decisions often creates more in this layer.

A complete audit examines all three layers. Let's start.
